The service
Kontrua is a documentation maintenance tool. By installing the GitHub App or connecting a GitLab project, you authorize Kontrua to read your repository's code and open pull requests containing generated documentation updates.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the right to connect any repository you add to Kontrua.
- You are responsible for reviewing generated pull requests before merging. Kontrua uses AI and may produce inaccurate output.
- Do not use Kontrua to generate documentation that violates third-party rights or applicable law.
AI-generated content
Documentation is generated by AI models. Output may contain errors or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing and accepting any changes Kontrua commits to your repositories.
Billing & taxes
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe, in the amount displayed at checkout, inclusive of any applicable VAT. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where the law provides otherwise (see withdrawal right below), refunds are not issued for partial periods.
Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. For digital services that begin immediately, you expressly request that the service start during that period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it is fully performed.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Kontrua is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect loss of data, revenue, or reputation arising from use of the service, including errors in AI-generated output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including a consumer’s statutory rights and the French legal warranty of conformity.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence and, before any court action, may use a consumer mediator free of charge: [FILL: mediator name + website]. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). For business users, the courts of Paris have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
